Vegex is a tomatoes supplier company that has been in service for the past 50 years and more. They source their products from 45 hectares of green houses across Poland. They are the largest exporters of tomatoes produced in Poland to the European Union countries. Their main markets are the UK, France and Sweden. The green houses are completely computerized where the temperature, irrigation levels, humidity and CO2 levels can all be monitored and controlled. This ensures that all the tomatoes grown get a constant and optimum growth atmosphere. The tomatoes are sorted to ensure that only those that meet the right quality are passed for use and the rest are rejected.

Tomatoes are packaged well and stored at the right temperature to make sure that their colour, taste and aroma are retained till they actually reach the customer. The transportation used also have high standards to ensure that the produce reach the distribution centres intact.

Vegex has a big business network with growers and customers forming a part of it. The growers who partner with Vegex are FPF fresh info and Darfruit. The co operating growers too are members of the GlobalGAP (Global Good Agricultural Practices) organization. They are also compliant with Tesco Nature’s Choice standard.
